Psychotherapy is popularly known as talk therapy and consists of a variety of therapeutic approaches, often integrated, to provide a treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each client. In psychodynamic therapy emphasis is placed on exploring the unconscious mind and its mental processes that drive our emotions, thoughts, beliefs and behaviours. This process involves reflecting on, and unpacking past experiences and relationships to gain insight into current struggles

Couples or Relationship Therapy:
Relationship counseling, or couples therapy, is a form of therapy that supports people in relationships who are seeking to improve intimacy, security and understanding. While the relationship itself is the focus in couples therapy, each partner is expected to pay attention to self-improvement and self-awareness. Couples therapy requires both partners to be committed and willing to work on themselves and to improve the relationship. I offer couples therapy that centers on helping couples increase their internal and interactional emotional security and connection using an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach.
